After our first video competition last year, this year we decided to go
international and joined the WEVA Creative Excellence Awards, the olympics
of wedding videography. Cramped for time and just barely beating the
deadline, we were only able to submit four entries in two categories, namely:
Wedding Highlights and Same-Day Edit. That was a couple of months ago.
Just this morning, the results came out and we’d like to share that half
of our entries got recognized. 
Wedding Highlights Silver Award: Doi & May
Same-Day Edit Finalist: Pat & Cris
We would’ve been delighted if our other submissions
(Major & Sabrina and Luke & Riza download black hawk down dvd )
were also awarded but, for us, two out of four is quite an achievement
already… especially for a first time participant. 
But this post is not really about this latest accomplishment of ours.
This is more about the numerous awards garnered by Filipino videographers
at this international competition. From top to bottom of the competition
results, you’ll see a Filipino videographer somewhere in the list… proving
to the world that there’s a plethora of top-notch videographers here
in our country. So props goes to fellow awardees Mayad Studios, MG Digital,
Director’s Cut, Imacron and, of course, Jason Magbanua. You guys are awesome.
Despite all the problems we have, times like this makes us proud to be a Filipino.

You’re actually the first to make me teary-eyed after watching an on-site AVP (Boogie-Jack). Pero konti lang, I swear!! Haha!
