Aug 31 | The Canon 7d Test Team - Jason Magbanua, Threelogy, Cinemaworks and Bob Nicolas Videography - convened at the Edsa Shangri-la for a pre-shoot meeting. It was here where the Perya idea was conceptualized.
Sep 1 | First day of the shoot. We met at the house of Bong at 6 pm - kinda late because we only got the 7d at 5 pm. Drove to Bulacan and started playing, experimenting and exploring the 7d. Shot all night long and went home at four in the morning the next day.
Sep 2 | Returned to Bulacan - this time with the sun still up. Continued shooting and interviewed Perya personalities, as well.
Sep 7 | Jason and I alternately edited the footages here at our house. Editing lasted until the wee hours of the following day.
Sep 9 | Official launching of the Canon 7d. We were not there for we had a wedding to cover.
In a nutshell, the 7d gave great colors, excellent low-light performance and records in 24p! You know how I love 24p.
Here’s the output of our 7d mini-project:

It was a privilege working with the industry’s best once again. Thanks, guys. ‘Til our next project…

brilliant. just effin’ brilliant.
you guys created a video in 3 minutes that is so dense and so wonderfully woven together that told a solid story in that time frame that puts to shame some documentaries being put out there by our local channels.
more of this!
more collaboration!

peace!

Powerful.
Moving.
This is new cinema.
It’s not about the technology, this is a feeling that only moving pictures & sound can create.
Bravo.

This is truly amazing work and I am glad I stumbled across your website here. If I may ask, what lenses did you use for this piece. Was there any color correction done or is this straight off of the 7D. Amazing work! Keep em coming!
