Everyone knows dating games. Back in the day, there was It’s a Date — a widely-popular local tv dating game show. Nowadays, there are a ton of reality tv dating shows like The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. Sadly, none of these seem to work for the participants. They win, they go out on a date or two… then some would get to the next level and have a relationship… only to break-up in the end. But Sanjay and Debby are an exception.

You see, Sanjay and Debby were officemates but they’ve never really crossed paths — maybe because they’re in different teams at different floors. Heck, they don’t even use the same elevator. That was until a dating game was setup for Valentine’s back in 2008 and they were both selected… to be searchees. In short, they selected different partners but, instead of going out on seperate dates, they chose to go out on a group date. It was then that Sanjay started to notice Debby — just like serendipity.

Fast forward to today, after going out on non-group dates… to being skeptical of LDR’s (long-distance relationship) to being in one, here they are happily married.

Now who says dating games don’t work?
