It’s been said that weddings are a celebration of love. Some have even said that weddings are a celebration of life.

For Onet and Atet, it’s both.

Just three years ago, Atet contracted cancer… but she overcame. Being a cancer survivor gave extra meaning to their silver wedding anniversary — a celebration of love and life through a renewal of vows.

And this extra meaning was shared by their guests as well. Instead of receiving gifts, Onet and Atet asked their guests to raise money to donate to the Children with Cancer Ward of the Philippine Childrens Medical Center. Now that just warms your heart. With gestures like that, it is no surprise that Onet and Atet has been blessed (and will continually be blessed) by the Lord.
